A giant, turquoise lake is the center of this park.The water is a cool shade of blue, due to some mineral. The main attractions are fishing and boating. The park is located close to Rifle Gap and Falls, as well as New Castle and Silt, along I-70. It’s day-use only, no camping. Camping can be found at nearby Rifle Falls and Rifle Gap State Parks.
